For a decade now, farm workers in Apopka have suffered from the devastating health effects of pesticide spray and waste mismanagment on their land. This meeting will address these issues, seeking to help these workers get the medical attention they need and to prevent further misuse of their land.

Official topics for the meeting are as follows: Keene Road Landfill, Environmental-Health concerns, Transportation, Lake Apopka and surrounding farms

Anyone who is able is strongly encouraged to attend, as popular demand for equal rights and environmental justice helps prove to those in power that we mean business!

For anyone who is interested, call Sam at 727-432-5767 and we can work out a carpool from the UCF area since Apopka isn’t extremely close.
We hope for this meeting to be the beginning of DGR Orlando’s regular involvement with this important cause.
