There is going to be a gathering of environmental groups of all kinds to advocate for the protection of Florida waterways. We are organizing a carpool, if you are interested post on the page!

This will be a great opportunity to network with others around the state and to spread DGR philosophy!
“Please join former Governor and U.S. Senator Bob Graham and the Florida Conservation Coalition, in partnership with Silver River Museum, Silver Springs Alliance, and Marion County Springs Festival at “Speak Up for Silver Springs and Florida’s Waters” on June 23rd from 10 am – 4 pm. This call to action to protect and restore Florida’s imperiled waterways will be held at Silver River State Park and will include important public statements by FCC leaders, educational presentations, nature exhibits, outdoor activities, and live music.

We hope everyone who is concerned with the health of Silver Springs, and all of Florida’s water resources, will come together to celebrate our outstanding waterways, learn about the significant water quality and supply challenges we are facing, and advocate for the protection and restoration of Florida’s imperiled waterways.”
