Apopka Toxic Tour

In place of our regular weekly meeting, we will be doing the Apopka toxic tour. This tour will orient us to the social and environmental injustices that have been occurring there for years such as:
-toxic pesticide use and runoff
-landfills and sewage plants in residential areas
-health effects due to pesticide exposure and little or no health care
-poor water conditions in Lake Apopka and throughout the town’s underground water system.
